Job Specifics:
ltem 1 Linestop 6” - Below Computer Floor – Second Floor
8 – 6” Linestop weld fittings for Carbon Steel Chilled Water
(Fitting provided by IFT and weld on by Contractor)
8 – Installation of temporary valve with air test.
8 – Hot Taps to allow for linestop entry
8 – Insertion of 6” linestop
8 – 3/4” Tap on contractor supplied and installed materials for blow down and
equalizing pressure to remove linestop. (If Needed)
8 – 6” Linestops held up to 8 Hours while you make pipe modifications
8– Removal of Linestop, install Completion Plug and Blind Flange
ltem 2 Linestop 10” - Ceiling of First Floor
4 – 10” Linestop weld fittings for Carbon Steel Chilled Water
(Fitting provided by IFT and weld on by Contractor)
4 – Installation of temporary valve with air test.
4 – Hot Taps to allow for linestop entry
4 – Insertion of 10” linestop
4 – 3/4” Tap on contractor supplied and installed materials for blow down and
equalizing pressure to remove linestop. (If Needed)
4 – 10” Linestops held up to 8 Hours while you make pipe modifications
4– Removal of Linestop, install Completion Plug and Blind Flange
ITEM 3 – 4” Freeze - Ceiling of First Floor
2 – 4” Pipe freeze on Carbon Steel Chilled Water Pipeline (70 degrees or less )
6 - Hour hold time for freeze while you perform pipeline modifications
